Awards
Our Keller Williams Awards Season is starting again – and we wanted to let you know about some very important changes that we have made this year to our Awards Process and Procedures.
Awards Pick-Up
This year, market center awards and agent awards WILL NOT be shipped to your market center. All awards will be distributed on-site at Family Reunion to MC Leadership at the Awards Desk immediately following registration. Your market center leadership team should develop a plan on who will pick-up the awards and how you will distribute the awards to your agents.
Awards Policy
We have made some changes to our 2008 Awards Policy. You can review the entire policy on the KW Intranet, by clicking here.
Here are the highlights:
Definition of Individuals, Teams, Groups
This year we are cross-referencing the associate records to the team and group records. An associate must have a Status A to count as part of the team or group for the awards. For awards purposes, a team is technically defined as two licensed associates working together and a group is 3 or more licensed associates working together. If you had a group of three licensed associates working together and one of them left the market center, they’ll now show up as a team on this report. They’ll be categorized as a team for awards, as well.
Adjustment Period for Awards
Every year we allow you to make final adjustments to associates production information. This year, the adjustment period is schedule to be open from Monday, Jan. 14, 2008 through Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008.
New Awards
We will award market centers with Highest Gain in Profit Share in all three phases — Launch, Growth and Achievement
Profit Sharing Market centers Award and Market centers in Production Award for GCI and Units will be combined into one physical award and awarded in all three phases — Launch, Growth and Achievement
Non-KW Production/Transfer GCI & Untis
Beginning this year, individuals who join Keller Williams mid-year and then become a Team or a Group cannot apply their individual production to their new Team or Group for awards purposes.
Individual
When an agent joins your market center, you enter their individual transfer GCI and Units from the non-KW office on the Profit Share tab of the associate record.
Team/Group
If the associate is part of a transferring team or group, you must also enter the total GCI and Units for the entire team or group in the Transfer GCI and Units fields of Team and Group Awards entry screen.
For example, if you have a group of associates joining your market center from a non-KW office, enter each individual’s transferring production in each associate’s record. Then, enter the total team/group production in the team/group record.
You can also use the Transfer GCI and Units fields on the team and group Awards entry screen to add an associate’s KW production (from another market center) to a team or group’s production if an associate joins a pre-existing team or group. Non-KW individual production should not be added to the team or group totals.
Non-Transmitting Market Centers
Non-transmitting market centers will need to submit their awards candidates to KWRI on or before January 14, 2007. For more details, please contact awards@kw.com.
Should you have any questions about the new Awards Policy, please email awards@kw.com.
